Disclaimer

It is in the nature of crochet to stretch. Just as your favourite jeans become a custom fit, a crochet hat will as well.

Hand dyed yarn will have subtle changes between each skein in the batch or dye lot. As the yarn is worked, the colours may appear to be spotted or striped. As each skein of hand dyed yarn is unique, each crochet item made with the hand dyed yarn will also be unique.

Pure sheep wool may have some natural fibres imbedded within the strand. They are removed during manufacturing but some remain. The designer removes them during production to the best of their ability but some fibres become spun into the core of the yarn and may work their way to the surface over time. This does not affect the product stability but could create mild irritation and can be removed simply by pulling them out.

Crochet items can be washed (preferably by hand) and reshaped when wet then left to dry flat. Items left hanging will stretch and lose their shape. Should items be washed in a machine, caution should be used to avoid encountering anything that would snag on the stitches and damage the item. Care instructions are available on our FAQ section and social feed @hats.for.life.designs
